The Cape Cod Foundation Announces its 2018 Scholarship Application Process

The Cape Cod Foundation has announced the launch of its 2018 online scholarship application process. The Foundation administers more than 75 scholarship funds for graduating high school seniors, current college and adult students.

Most of the scholarships available through The Cape Cod Foundation will have a deadline of midnight on April 1. However, interested applicants are encouraged to carefully review the Scholarship Information Booklet prior to beginning the online application process, so that they know the criteria, deadlines, and application requirements for each scholarship. This booklet, as well as links to the various online applications, can be found at www.capecodfoundation.org.

While many of the available scholarships offered are for students on a traditional educational track through a 2-year or 4-year college or university, the Foundation is pleased that each year, more and more scholarships are also available for students pursuing professional certificates and for adult learners to begin higher education or return to school. Scholarships available to adult learners include the Scarbrough Adult Learner Scholarship, the American Association of University Women/Cape Cod Branch Student Re-Entry Scholarship, and the CCYP Career Connect Scholarship.

Last year, The Cape Cod Foundation awarded more than $420,000 in scholarships to 138 students from Cape Cod and the Islands. The Foundation also administers scholarships for its supporting organization, the Cape Cod Association, one of the oldest and largest independent scholarship funds in New England, which last year awarded more than $437,000.  Criteria, deadlines and application requirements for Cape Cod Association scholarships can be found at www.capecodassoc.org.
