Community Development Partnership

How does a Cape Cod nonprofit become a micro-energy power plant? The Community Development Partnership in Eastham is adding that unusual feather to its cap by expanding the use of solar power on its affordable housing units. The combined kilowatts generated by the project will be shared across its entire portfolio and help reduce energy costs for over 50 families. Click here to read more

Kristin O'Malley, Executive Director

Meet the Executive Director
Executive Director Kristin O’Malley joined the staff of the Cape Cod Foundation in 2004, most recently as the Manager of Community Investment Services, before transitioning to her leadership role. Throughout her tenure at the Foundation, O’Malley has worked in areas including grantmaking, fund development and stewardship, community initiatives, and networking with regional nonprofits.
O’Malley has been involved with many local community groups, including the Cape Cod Young Professionals; Barnstable County Council for Children, Youth, and Families; the Youth Council of the Cape & Islands Workforce Investment Board; the Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod & the Islands; and the Middlebury College Alumni Admissions Program. She has presented on grantmaking topics for various groups and has served as a spokesperson for local and national publications and media outlets in the areas of philanthropy.
O’Malley, a native Cape Codder, holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA in Nonprofit Management from Suffolk University. She was named one of the 2012 “40 Under 40” leaders by Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine
