The Community Development Partnership in Eastham is adding that unusual feather to its cap by expanding the use of solar power on its affordable housing units.  The combined kilowatts generated by the project will be shared across its entire portfolio and help reduce energy costs for over 50 families.  Click here to read more

Scholarship Application

The information in THIS BOOKLET will determine your eligibility for more than 60 scholarship funds administered by the Foundation.  It is imperative that you read the descriptions provided to ensure accuracy of your application materials.

The deadline for the majority of Cape Cod Foundation scholarships is April 1st, 2014. The following scholarships are open through our online application system. You can access the online applications through the links below.  You will be required to create a log-in and then you will have access to the application. The Cape Cod Foundation will NOT accept incomplete or late applications, or applications submitted on incorrect forms, so please pay close attention to details.

Important note on the online application: as part of your application, you will be required to have letters of recommendation. You make these requests to your recommender through our online system. You WILL NOT be able to submit your application without these letters having been received. You MUST check back to ensure they have been received, and then SUBMIT your application in order for it to be considered complete and for it to be forwarded on to the review committee for consideration.

Cape Cod Foundation 25th Anniversary Scholarship:  A scholarship in honor of the Cape Cod Foundationís 25th anniversary to a graduating high school senior from Cape Cod (Barnstable County) who will be attending an accredited college or university in fall 2014.  Eligible applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be involved in their community.

NOTE: If you have already applied for the Cape Cod Foundation Scholarship (using the Foundation's Common Application) you will automatically be considered for the 25th Anniversary Scholarship and do not have to reapply here.

Cape Cod Foundation Common Application for CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Cape Cod Foundation Common Application for COLLEGE AND ADULT STUDENTS

Cape Cod Hospitality Marketing Association Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors, current college students, or returning adult students to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in the hospitality industry or related field. Students MUST be residents of Cape Cod or the Islands and attending a two- or four-year accredited program full-time.

Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) Career Connect Scholarship is for adult students (ages 21+) to return to school, train in a new profession, or to take courses to develop their professional life on Cape Cod. Possible courses of study include: continuing college student (undergraduate or graduate); certificate programs; professional leadership courses; certificate or other education training programs. Applicants may be attending either full-or part-time and must have resided on Cape Cod (Barnstable County) for the past three consecutive years.

Megan Tripp Memorial Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors from Cape Cod or the Islands who are planning to attend a four-year accredited college or university, and who are planning to become an elementary school teacher and/or have been an active member of their high school golf team.

Michele Marks-McCormick Memorial Scholarship is lovingly given each year to students from Cape Cod or the Islands who are planning to pursue a career in aviation to attend college or to obtain their private pilot's license.

Patrick M. Butler Memorial Scholarship is for students who were residents of Cape Cod (Barnstable County) when they graduated from high school who have been accepted into or are currently attending an accredited law school and will be attending either part-time or full-time in the academic year immediately following the scholarship deadline. Preference is for students from the Town of Barnstable.

Robert and Claire Munroe Woods Hole Golf Club Scholarship is for students who have been consistently employed at the Woods Hole Golf Club as caddies, pro shop assistants, or grounds crew personnel during at least 2 summers who are/will be attending a 2- or 4-year accredited college or university.
