The Fund for Sandwich Grants

Date:Mar 18, 2014

The goal of The Fund for Sandwich is to provide grants for initiatives that tackle the wide range of challenges and opportunities facing our community in order to improve the quality of life for those who live and work in Sandwich.

The Fund for Sandwich will make 5 grants of up to $750 to nonprofit organizations serving residents of the Town of Sandwich.

The Fund for Sandwich is prepared to consider a wide range of proposals. At the same time, The Fund is especially interested in proposals that respond to community needs, especially for the neediest of the Town, as well as that think creatively in solving local problems across a wide range fields, including human, health, youth, and aging services, education and the arts, community development and the environment.

This is a small grant initiative. At least at this time, The Fund for Sandwich is unlikely to consider proposals to fund capital campaigns, major capital improvements, endowment building, and monuments and memorials.

For those organizations receiving these grants, the funds must be expended within one year of receiving them, and a one page summary of the use of the funds and the accomplishments of the project or program must be submitted to The Fund for Sandwich.

There will be an advisory committee to screen proposals for The Fund for Sandwich. Grantees will be announced in November.
