The GALE Fund was established at The Cape Cod Foundation in 1998 and has raised and distributed more than $250,000 to local organizations supporting programs that improve the lives of LGBTQ individuals and their families.
The goal of the GALE Fund grants program is to encourage informed, relevant, collaborative and effective programming about LGBTQ issues, responding to the most pressing needs identified by the community.
The GALE Fund is seeking proposals that include, but are not limited to, activities and programs focusing on: Equal/Human/Civil Rights, Youth and Elders, Health Care, Arts and Culture, and Education. Advocacy for LGBTQ at-risk community members is a priority. Programs addressing LGBTQ immigration are also welcomed.
Grants awarded by the GALE Fund typically range from $500 to $3,000. Special consideration given to projects in which the people who are targeted in the proposal will have a voice in the process, from conception and design to implementation and evaluation.
The 2018 grant deadline is Friday, March 16 at midnight. Click here to apply.
