In 1851, a group of successful gentlemen, all living and working off-Cape, came together to support one another and stave off the loneliness they felt for their beloved Cape. Through the years, their group grew and slowly started offering tuition assistance to other Cape Codders to follow their dreams.
Today, the Cape Cod Association is one of the oldest and largest independent scholarship funds in New England, operating as a supporting organization of The Cape Cod Foundation since 2001. The Cape Cod Association annually awards approximately $450,000 to more than 300 local students.
The Cape Cod Association has its own scholarship application process, which is open to students who were born on and currently reside on Cape Cod or the Islands.
Visit the Cape Cod Association website for more information and to apply for their scholarships.
