Helaine Goudreau, Program Officer
Helaine Goudreau joined The Cape Cod Foundation as Program Officer in 2020, serving as the key grantmaking contact for community organizations across the region. Helaine is responsible for managing The Foundation’s grant administration processes, strengthening relationships between the Foundation and local nonprofits, identifying opportunities for strategic grantmaking, and contributing to community engagement and civic leadership initiatives.
Helaine grew up in Auburn, MA, and spent many happy summers with her parents and grandparents on Cape Cod. She earned a B.A. in English and Public Policy from Connecticut College in New London, CT in 2014. She has worked for several nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Ireland, specializing in grant management, communications, strategic planning, program development, community outreach, and donor cultivation.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Helaine served as Communications and Development Manager at the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound in Hyannis and as Director of Foundations and Communications at the Rian Immigrant Center in Boston.
She currently lives in Brewster with her husband and enjoys running along the Cape’s many beautiful paths and trails.
Together, we have invested more than $80 million in grants and scholarships in the Cape Cod Community. For good.
