The Non-Social Event of the Season!

We thought long and hard whether to hold our annual Non-Event this year. Then we thought, “Why not?” This socially distant soiree is ever-so suitable for all. So, please accept this invitation to our first-ever, very virtual, slightly irreverent… Masquerade Ball!

We’d say “come as you are”, but please don’t come at all. Not as Chagall, de Gaulle, or that famous Hollywood couple named Bogie and
Bacall. Here’s how it works. You buy a ticket to this smarty non-party, then never show up. Do good. Stay home. Stay safe.

It’s been a challenging year. Many more challenges lie ahead. But this pandemic has shown us why—now more than ever—this
community needs a community foundation. Together, we have raised over $1.51 million and distributed $1.17 million in relief funds to more than 40 nonprofits serving our families, our neighbors, and our friends experiencing unprecedented need. And, together, we’ve formed an even greater partnership to re-imagine and rebuild our community—better than it’s ever been before. Now, that’s something to celebrate!

So, while our Non-Event is a no-frills, no-fuss, and no-attendance-required endeavor, we can’t disguise it–this invitation comes with a
very important ask to help keep us on task.

All proceeds support The Cape Cod Foundation’s Civic Leadership Initiatives—during ordinary and extraordinary times. We will continue to build and deploy resources from our Strategic Emergency Response Fund to strengthen our community now and in the years to come. We will also continue to invest in initiatives that support nonprofit capacity building, nonprofit education and leadership development, partnerships with broad regional impact, and projects that bring vital shared resources to the nonprofit sector, which are now more important than ever.
