Eileen Miskell, Founding Chair
Eileen was one of the driving forces behind the establishment of The Falmouth Fund in 2009. She served as the Chair of its Advisory Committee through 2017. Under her leadership, the endowment fund grew to $1.4 million and awarded over $360,000 in grants to more than 70 local nonprofit organizations serving the town of Falmouth.

She is currently on the Community Preservation Committee for the Town of Falmouth and on the Board of Directors of Independent Bancorp (Rockland Trust). She has served as Treasurer, then Chairman and President of The Cape Cod Foundation’s Board, and held leadership positions on the boards of the Falmouth Public Library Foundation, Falmouth Academy, and Falmouth League of Women Voters.

Eileen holds a BS degree from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University. She and her husband, Dana, have two adult children and live in Falmouth. They own Wood Lumber Company, which Dana’s grandfather started in 1912, and purchased Eight Cousins Bookstore on Main Street with two other partners in 2015.
