Olivia Masih White
Olivia came to the United States in 1962 from India to study at Southern Methodist University. She met her husband Terry at SMU and became a U.S citizen in 1971. After finishing her Ph.D in Biology (Genetics), she taught at the University of North Texas for 20 years and John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio for two years. In 2011, she retired and moved to Falmouth, MA to be near her daughter who is a Senior Engineer at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Olivia was the President of the Falmouth Newcomers Club in 2014-2015. She currently serves on several boards: the Cape Cod Council of Churches; Church Women United of Cape Cod; Falmouth SWIFT (Supporting Women in Financial Transition), League of Women Voters, and the Falmouth Historical Society.
