Sharon Nunes, Chair

Sharon retired from IBM in 2012 after spending 28 years in several areas of IBM’s businesses: Research, Development, Manufacturing, Corporate Headquarters, and Business Development. Sharon received her Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Connecticut and is currently an emeritus member of the Board of Directors for the University of Connecticut Foundation and a member of the Engineering Advisory Board at the University of Connecticut. Sharon and her husband, Ron, moved to Falmouth in 2010 and are active in several local organizations. Sharon volunteers at the Falmouth Service Center, Cotuit Center for the Arts and the Woods Hole Folk Music Society. She is also a board member at The Cape Cod Foundation, where she serves on the scholarship and grant committees. Q&A WITH SHARON
