Paula has been involved with Sandwich Community TV (SCTV) since 2004 and became its Executive Director in 2009. Since then, the organization has undergone tremendous growth. Under her leadership, an SCTV-owned, state of the art main studio was completed in 2009, and a renovated studio and media center was designed and installed by SCTV at Sandwich High School in 2013. The organization also owns and operates a 24/7 local community radio station, WSDH 91.5FM.
Paula has a keen interest in technology and the effects and power of social media. She has been an active user and administrator for several social media accounts on Cape Cod.
Before joining SCTV, she worked for a number of years in the telecommunications industry and held positions with both New England Telephone, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon in outside plant and engineering.
She has served on the boards of the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce, the Boardwalk Ball Committee, Sandwich Chamber Marketing Committee and Sandwichfest Committee. She is currently serving on the Sandwich Council on Aging, the Sandwich Glass Town Cultural District Steering Committee, and First Night Sandwich, an event she helped found.
Paula has lived in Sandwich for 29 years with her husband Jeffrey. Their two sons attended Sandwich public schools K-12. She loves the natural beauty of Sandwich and its history and is dedicated to growing The Fund for Sandwich with her colleagues so it can be a resource for the nonprofit community of Sandwich for years to come.
