Cape Cod Association Offers Heritage-Based Scholarships for 2021

South Yarmouth – The Cape Cod Association (CCA) is accepting applications for its 2021 scholarship program. Last year, the organization awarded $440,000 to 323 local students pursuing higher education. This year marks its 170th anniversary.

Applicants who were born on and reside on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket are eligible to apply. Academic merit, extracurricular activities, and financial need are also considered.

Scholarships are offered to graduating high school seniors for up to four years of an undergraduate program and current college students who are past recipients of a CCA award. Applicants may attend two- and four-year colleges and universities, technical schools, and community colleges anywhere in the United States. The CCA does not fund graduate education.

Past recipients of a CCA scholarship must reapply by midnight on March 15, 2021. High school seniors must apply by midnight on April 1, 2021. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The Association has been helping Cape Cod students achieve success in higher education since 1851. Over the past decade alone, it has distributed more than 3,000 awards, totaling over $4 million.

The application process is entirely online. Visit www.capecodassoc.org for additional information and link to application. The Cape Cod Association is a partnering organization of The Cape Cod Foundation. For questions, contact Mary Beth Burwood, Scholarship Officer, at 508-790-3040 or email info@capecodassoc.org.
