In 1971, Trachsel earned a JD degree from The University of Connecticut School of Law and joined the Pratt and Whitney legal department. He was later appointed Vice President and Division Counsel at Hamilton Standard and Vice President for UTC’s automotive business in Dearborn, Michigan. He returned to corporate headquarters in Hartford as Deputy General Counsel in 1983. In 1998, he was elected Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel.
Together, we have invested more than $100 million in grants and scholarships in the Cape Cod Community. For good.
