CCYP Giving Circle Fund Established

YARMOUTHPORT- CCYP, in partnership with The Cape Cod Foundation, has announced the establishment of a new fund that will support local organizations and programs working to address issues pertaining to young professionals on Cape Cod to help shape a vibrant and healthy community.

The fund, known as the CCYP Giving Circle Fund, will enable its members to support strategic initiatives aligned with CCYP priorities to advance the reach of the organization.

Giving Circle membership, which is open to anyone, involves making monthly donations of $10, $20, or $50. Members then have the option of attending civic learning sessions to review proposed projects and discuss community needs, then together decide how to direct a portion of the funds raised each year to causes they care about.

In addition, a portion of the Giving Circle membership will support current programs of CCYP and a CCYP Endowment Fund to ensure that the organization can continue to shape the future of Cape Cod for years to come.

“The establishment of this fund will allow our members to engage philanthropically in an impactful way, by leveraging their collective resources. It is an exciting evolution as we celebrate our 10th anniversary as an organization, “stated Anne Van Vleck, Executive Director of CCYP. “We are thrilled to partner with The Cape Cod Foundation to access their expertise in informed grantmaking and community-based work.”

CCYP has matured immensely over the last ten years and this Giving Circle is a very logical next step in helping them advance their goals as an organization and in the community.”
