DESCRIPTION: The Chatham Fund supports nonprofits with 501(c)(3) public charity status that serve the Chatham community. Organizations can be located outside of Chatham, but all projects and programs must support the town’s residents. The Fund supports nonprofits that are responsive to community needs and opportunities, collaborate with others, approach solutions innovatively, and work strategically to enhance the quality of life in Chatham. It prioritizes proposals addressing one or more of the following: hunger; children’s needs; the environment; and other social needs including, but not limited to, housing, healthy aging, transportation, and economic security.
