DESCRIPTION
New for 2025. Flexible Funding Grants are a special opportunity to access funding in response to urgent needs, or to create program continuity and stability as a response to the anticipated end of pandemic-era funding, or to funding changes at the state or federal level. Given the reality that a community foundation cannot replace state or federal dollars, grants are not intended to simply fill a budget gap. Rather, we seek to fund organizations who are planning for change, are creating new operating models, seeking partnerships and collaborations to maximize impact, are serving populations disproportionately affected by funding changes, and/or are building organizational resilience in other ways.
Our goal as a community foundation is to remain responsive to the community we serve. As we pass the five-year mark since the pandemic began affecting all our communities, we are hearing from our nonprofit partners with a variety of needs and concerns. These Flexible Funding Grants are a response to this need. They offer General Operating Support dollars for organizational response to changes in funding.
