The Keel Society

Hundreds of generous donors have included a bequest to The Cape Cod Foundation in their estate plans. While their intentions may vary, they want to demonstrate their continued commitment to a community they love and to help amplify change for generations to come.  Together they form our Keel Society. 

The keel is the chief structural part of a boat or ship, extending longitudinally along the center of its bottom. It helps steer, move, and counterbalance the vessel.  It is the backbone. Gifts from our Keel Society members have given and will continue to give the Foundation the unprecedent ability to seize opportunities, navigate challenges, respond nimbly to needs as they change over time, and strengthen the community in perpetuity.  We’ve listed these amazing change-agents below.
