Our goal is to remain responsive to the community we serve.  This program was introduced in 2025 to help nonprofit organizations that are currently experiencing changes due to the end of pandemic-era funding or funding changes at the state or federal level. It is open to recipients who received grants from our Strategic Emergency Response Fund from 2020-2024 and those working in other areas we have available discretionary resources.

This special opportunity gives nonprofits access to funding to meet urgent needs or to create program continuity and stability.  Since a community foundation cannot replace state or federal dollars, grants are not intended to fill a budget gap.  Rather, we seek to fund organizations who are planning for a change, creating new operating models, seeking partnerships and collaborations to maximize impact, serving populations disproportionately affected by funding changes, and/or those who are building organizational resilience in other ways.
