New Additions to The Cape Cod Foundation Board

The Cape Cod Foundation has announced that Debra Davies of Centerville, Lisa Sherman of Harwich and Mark Quinn of Dennis have joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors. All have been elected to four-year terms.

Ms. Davies’s professional background includes member of an LLC managing commercial real estate, Managing Director for a restaurant management corporation with one local independent restaurant, banking and the non-profit arenas. She has held volunteer positions in Hyannis and Sandwich including former Chairman of the Board of the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce and founding board officer of the Sandwich Legacy Foundation. Currently, Ms. Davies serves as Chair of the Advisory Committee for The Fund for Sandwich.

Ms. Sherman grew up on Cape Cod before attending the University of New Hampshire and Suffolk University Law School. After practicing law in Boston for 8 years, she joined the Orleans law firm of LaTanzi, Spalding & Landreth, PC, in 2000 and became a Partner in its Trust & Estates Department in 2003. Lisa is active in the community, both on Cape Cod and in Ludlow, Vermont, and has served on several non-profit boards, including Cape Cod Children’s Place, Hope Health, Harwich Little League, The R.O.S.E. Fund, Okemo Mountain School, and Okemo Mountain Alpine Racing Association.

Mr. Quinn spent his professional career as a CPA, primarily as a partner in the assurance practice of Ernst & Young. He concluded his career at McGladrey, now known as RSM US, before retiring and moving to Dennis with his wife Elaine. They previously made their home in Reading, Massachusetts. Mark is a graduate of Georgetown University and of St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, where he has served as a trustee for many years. He also serves as an advisory board member for St. Pius X School in Yarmouth, Massachusetts.
