Steven W. Heslinga

Steve is a Managing Director – Investment Officer with the Heslinga Private Wealth Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and has been working with Wells Fargo Advisors and its affiliates since 2008. He spent the first six years of his career in Charlotte, NC, working with institutional clients while in the Mergers and Acquisitions group and, subsequently, as a bond trader in the High Yield Trading group. Steve is also a 2026 Platinum Council Advisor. The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production from the previous year and professionalism. His current efforts are concentrated on new business development, portfolio design, and investment planning for affluent individuals, families, nonprofits, and businesses. Steve holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and is a graduate of Wake Forest University with dual degrees in Economics and German, both with honors. He previously served as the treasurer for Cape Symphony and is an active volunteer at various community-minded organizations. He is also a passionate traveler, both domestically and internationally. He currently owns a home in Barnstable, where he lives with his wife, Tracy, and two sons.

What has inspired you to serve as a member of The Cape Cod Foundation Board of Directors?

As someone who lives and works on Cape Cod, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of these efforts. Joining the organization allows me to contribute my financial expertise and local insight to help steward resources and encourage positive change across the region. It’s an opportunity to give back to a place that has given so much to me and my family.”
