The Cape Cod Foundation Launches Labor Day Non-Event

The Cape Cod Foundation is urging supporters to take a night off to celebrate the work of the Foundation by not attending a Non-Event this Labor Day weekend.   Currently selling tickets in the amounts of $50 for a single, $100 for a couple, or $300 for a table of 8, the Foundation is hoping the campaign will inspire new supporters to learn more about its work to enhance the effectiveness of Cape Cod’s non-profit community.

“The Foundation is always looking for inventive ways to engage current and new supporters,” said Foundation Executive Director Kristin O’Malley.  “With summer schedules full of wonderful events benefiting our local non-profits, we thought people may enjoy buying a ticket to take a night off and spend time with family and friends, while still supporting a great cause.”

Miami Beach based Zudy Software, with a local office in Orleans, has committed $10,000 to the campaign as Founding Sponsor.  “Zudy simplifies application development for large enterprises and virtually any business.  Building enterprise applications takes days and applications run on all devices and all platforms.  The ‘no code’ environment enables companies to quickly deploy ‘pop up’ apps and increase productivity.  Similarly, we recognize that the Foundation helps to simplify philanthropy for its donors and community partners; fostering more impactful giving and a stronger community,” said Trish Kennedy, Zudy co-founder and community philanthropist.

Long-term Foundation supporters Wood Lumber Company of Falmouth, and Rogers & Gray Insurance have also lent their financial backing to the campaign as Gold and Silver sponsors of the Non-Event.  100% of the proceeds raised by the campaign will directly benefit the community based and civic leadership activities of the Foundation.

Anyone interested in contributing to the Non-Event can do so through The Cape Cod Foundation.
