The Falmouth Fund Now Accepting Grant Proposals from Nonprofits Serving Community

SOUTH YARMOUTH—The Falmouth Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation is accepting grant applications for its 2026 Competitive Grant Program now through September 26, 2025. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations serving the Falmouth community.

Since inception, The Falmouth Fund has distributed over $1.3 million in grants to more than 100 nonprofit organizations. The Fund supports nonprofit programs and capacity-building initiatives in the following areas: health and human services; education & youth programs; arts & culture; and the environment.

“We prioritize organizations that are responsive to community needs and opportunities, as well as those that innovate, collaborate, and work strategically to enhance the quality of life in Falmouth,” said Sharon Nunes, the Fund’s Advisory Committee Chair.

Grant awards typically range from $2,000-$10,000, averaging $4,500. Additional information and specific application guidelines are available at www.capecodfoundation.org.

The Cape Cod Foundation will also hold two online information sessions to give applicants an overview of the grant program, offer technical assistance with its online grant management system, and answer questions. The sessions will be held on Wednesday, August 20, and Wednesday September 10, from 9:30-10:30 am.

Grants recipients will be notified in December 2025; funds will be awarded in January 2026.
