Olivia Masih White

OLIVIA MASIH WHITE came to the United States in 1962 from India to study at Southern Methodist University. She met her husband Terry at SMU and became a U.S. citizen in 1971. After finishing her Ph.D. in Biology (Genetics), she taught at the University of North Texas for 20 years and John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio for two years. In 2011, she retired and moved to Falmouth to be near her daughter who is a Senior Engineer at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Olivia was the President of the Falmouth Newcomers Club in 2014-2015. She serves on the Steering committee of No Place for Hate Falmouth, Church Women United, Falmouth Arts Center, and League of Women Voters. She has served on the boards of Cape Cod Council of Churches, the Falmouth Historical Society, and several boards of the Falmouth Congregational Church.
