The Falmouth Fund Seeks Grant Proposals

The Falmouth Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation, which serves general needs in the town of Falmouth, has set a Dec. 15 deadline for grant applications. A grant writing workshop, hosted by the Foundation and The Falmouth Fund, will explain more about the application process. The workshop will be held 10AM to 11:30AM on Tuesday, November 3rd, at the Education Center at the Falmouth Historical Society.

“The Falmouth Fund supports nonprofits that are responsive to community needs and opportunities, work in collaboration with others, think innovatively in their solutions, and work strategically to enhance the quality of life in Falmouth,” said the fund’s Advisory Committee Chair, Eileen Miskell of Falmouth. Grants may be made in the areas of health, human services, environment, education, the arts, and community development.

Attendance at the workshop, which will cover information about new changes to the process and tips for a successful application, is encouraged. RSVP to The Cape Cod Foundation: (508) 790-3040 or info@capecodfoundation.org.

Recipients of the grants must be 501(c)(3) organizations and serve the residents of Falmouth. For Falmouth Fund grant guidelines and to access the online application, visit www.capecodfoundation.org. Grant recipients will be notified within three months of the Dec. 15 deadline.

The Foundation’s grantmaking programs are now entirely online.  Grant guidelines, applications and other information about open grant programs may be found at www.capecodfoundation.org, or by contacting Dara Gannon at dgannon@capecodfoundation.org or (508) 790-3040.
