Victoria Lowell, Founding Member
Victoria (Vicky) Lowell graduated from Radcliffe College and Tufts University and has lived in Falmouth for over 50 years. She has chaired the Falmouth Planning Board and the Falmouth Hospital Board of Trustees and was a founder and first president of The 300 Committee Land Trust. She was elected a Barnstable County Commissioner and was an initial member of the Cape Cod Commission. Vicky has served on the boards of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod, Cape Cod Healthcare, The Cape Cod Foundation, and the Woods Hole Research Center. In 1990, she was recognized by the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce as “Citizen of the Year.” Vicky was a founding member of The Falmouth Fund, volunteering on both the Advisory Committee and the Grant Committee before retiring from the Fund in 2019.
Falmouth benefits from an incredible variety of worthy nonprofits, and I enthusiastically contribute to many of them. But I am also attracted to the idea of leaving a legacy that will support the community as a whole – a legacy that can respond to changing situations and opportunities. By investing in The Falmouth Fund, I can be confident that my contributions will be a catalyst for making Falmouth an even better place. I can become a true community philanthropist.”
– Vicky Lowell, Founding Member of The Falmouth Fund Advisory Committee
Together, we have invested more than $106 million in grants and scholarships in the Cape Cod Community. For good.
