The Fund for Sandwich: Denise M. Dever

Denise Dever is a retired business and community leader with more than four decades of experience in banking, business ownership, nonprofit leadership, and community service. She began her career with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Treasury Department before spending more than 20 years with State Street Bank and Trust Company, where she held senior leadership positions in Corporate Trust operations in Boston and New York. She managed large teams and complex operations supporting corporate and municipal clients.

 In 1998, Denise became the owner and president of a locally owned Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Over nearly two decades, she grew the business into a successful operation with more than 140 employees and caregivers, overseeing all aspects of finance, operations, marketing, and business development.

From 2019 through 2022, Denise served as Executive Director of the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce, managing its day-to-day operations, membership, and community events.

Now retired, Denise continues to be actively involved in the community. She has served on numerous boards and committees, including Sandwich Community Television, the Sandwich Legacy Foundation, the Cape & Islands Workforce Investment Board, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, and Hope Health. She is a past chair and board member of the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Cape Cod Women’s Association.

Denise has a B.S. in Government, cum laude, from Suffolk University. She lives in Plymouth and enjoys staying active through community involvement, golf, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
