Amazing Grace of Cape Cod, $750
To provide a summer camp experience for a child who lives in Sandwich. The organization offers children who have an incarcerated family member a week at summer camp at no charge.

Friends of Sandwich Council on Aging, $750
To support the Caregiver Respite Program, which provides temporary, in-home health assistance or respite care to older adults who are aging in place.  This assistance gives regular caregivers the opportunity to travel or attend to their own needs.

Friends of Sandwich Glass Town Cultural District, $750
To support a local artist/team of artists to conceptualize, design, and build a public art display. The project, which will be on display for three years in the historic downtown and Sandwich Glass Town Cultural District, is expected to be completed in the fall of 2020.

 Sandwich Arts Alliance, $500
To support the program “Re-inventing Women’s Lives Through the Arts.” The goal of the program is to empower women beginning or returning to their art, particularly those who are underserved, to re-examine and re-invent their lives as artists.

Sandwich Council on Aging, $500
To support a Temporary Homemaking and Respite program for senior citizens who no longer receive Medicare-paid services and do not qualify for the program with Elder Services of Cape Cod.  The program is designed to provide temporary homemaking, home health assistance or respite service to clients who may still be frail after hospitalization but can improve.  The goal is to prevent re-hospitalization.

Sandwich Elementary PTA, $500
To support the Art History program by funding the replacement of materials that are outdated and/or in disrepair. With the aid of many volunteer presenters, the program brings physical artwork into almost every classroom, grades K-6, in the Sandwich Public Schools every month. For many of these children, it is the closest experience to visiting an art museum they have.

 Special Olympics of Massachusetts, $500
To support the Cape Cod Waves Special Olympics Team by funding new uniforms which help the athletes feel and play better.

To support Calmer Choice training at the Oakridge Elementary School in Sandwich. Calmer Choice is a universal prevention program committed to teaching young people how to effectively and safely manage stress and resolve conflict so that they live happy, healthy, and successful lives.

To support the purchase of food gift cards for Sandwich military/Coast Guard families who are in need.

Cape Cod Collaborative Arts Network, $500
To create an 8-week arts program at Sandwich High School to support the Cape Cod Collaborative Arts Network (CapeCodCAN), a program of the Cotuit Center for the Arts. The mission of the program is to give individuals with disabilities opportunities to actively engage in the visual, literary, and performing arts.
