Financial Assistance: Cape Cod Foundation Scholarships

BACKGROUND
The Cape Cod Foundation was established in 1989 with a single scholarship fund. Today, it administers more than 300 funds, including over 100 funds that award scholarships annually to local students pursuing many educational paths. Each fund was established by someone who wanted to provide educational opportunities for members of our community.

Our team coordinates all scholarship activity and serves as a resource for students, parents/guardians, and school officials. The scholarship listings provide an overview of the scholarship funds we administer.

Most scholarships from The Cape Cod Foundation are available through the universal application, which automatically pairs eligible students with all available scholarships so they don’t miss opportunities. Additional opportunities from our partnering organization, the Cape Cod Association, and special grants for other educational endeavors are also accessible from the online scholarship portal.

ANNUAL AWARDS
The Cape Cod Foundation awards more than $900,000 in scholarships each year. Awards range from $1,000 to over $40,000. The average award is $5,000; the most common award is $1,000.
