The $3.5 Million Community Challenge–Our Biggest Challenge Ever!

Working Together Works!
Raised to Date: Almost $1 Million

In honor of our 35th Anniversary, we launched The $3.5 Million Community Challenge—our biggest challenge ever—to support Cape Cod now and in the years to come. Over the years, we have successfully built and deployed collective resources and used our community knowledge to support cross-sector solutions to our region’s greatest challenges.  With these additional resources, we could make three to five additional multi-year, broadscale investments in the community for an even greater impact.

An unrestricted gift to the Challenge has the greatest impact because it gives the Foundation flexibility to direct resources to the most pressing community needs as they change over time. If you are passionate about a specific area, you can also direct your gift to one of our existing field-of-interest funds. Learn more about each fund’s background, strategy, and recent grantmaking through the links below.

Throughout the year, we’ll profile the Foundation’s work in six key areas, where the needs are great, but our available resources are not. To kick-start the Challenge, we’ve awarded $175,000 in Anniversary Grants to five local nonprofits doing work in these areas. They’ll be announced monthly starting in May. More grantmaking is planned.

You can make an unrestricted gift or donate to any field-of-interest fund at any time. One-time gifts, recurring donations, and multi-year pledges in any amount all advance the Challenge.

Working together works. By pooling our resources, we can strategically drive regional, systemic change. Thank you for your support!
