Grants Overview
The Cape Cod Foundation develops permanent and flexible endowment funds to help nonprofit organizations seize opportunities and respond to the existing and emerging needs of communities across Cape Cod. Our grantmaking is broad and supports all areas of our community: health, human services, the environment, education, the arts, and community development. We are particularly interested in supporting collaborative initiatives that respond to our PROGRAMMATIC PRIORITIES.
This year, the Foundation has refined its grantmaking programs to reflect new funds, to complement our pandemic relief efforts, and to increase our impact by making fewer, larger grants. There are three discretionary grant programs: Program Grants, Capacity Building Grants, and Town Fund Grants. Visit each grant page for specific criteria and deadlines.

Strategic Emergency Response Fund Grants
We are making proactive grants from our Strategic Emergency Response Fund based on ongoing needs assessments, community conversations including partnerships with civic leaders, and high priority areas identified by our staff and Board. The Fund was developed to address basic human needs for vulnerable populations and to provide support for nonprofits who are rebuilding and reimagining services. We have asked nonprofit organizations to keep us updated through this quick Needs assessment survey. This approach has helped inform and direct much of our grantmaking. GRANTMAKING UPDATES
