ATTENTION NONPROFIT PARTNERS: HELP US HELP YOU!
What are your current circumstances, challenges, and critical needs?
Please take a few minutes to complete this SHORT FORM

During this time of uncertainty, The Cape Cod Foundation is gathering information in order to assess and respond to the rapidly changing needs of the community in the most effective way. As our nonprofit partner, you are in a unique position to give us important insight into your challenges, needs, and circumstances at this critical moment. We will use this information to help direct our own grantmaking and share it with other fundholders within the Foundation and in the community.

At this time, there is no formal application process for The Cape Cod Foundation Strategic EMERGENCY Response Fund. In order to simplify the process for our nonprofit partners, we anticipate making grants proactively based on what we learn from your input and community conversations. These processes may change over time as we strive to be fluid and flexible. Visit our website for the latest information.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

The Foundation’s discretionary grantmaking program is designed to develop permanent and flexible endowment funds to help nonprofit organizations seize opportunities and respond to the existing and emerging needs of communities across Cape Cod.

Our grantmaking is broad and supports all areas of our community: health, human services, the environment, education, the arts, and community development. We are particularly interested in supporting nonprofit initiatives that respond to our programmatic priorities.

There are three Community Impact Grants Programs. Each year, the Foundation distributes approximately 10% of its available discretionary funds through Fast Track Grants, 30% through General Grants, and 60% through Strategic Focus Grants.

Visit each grant page to learn more about specific criteria and deadlines. Please note:

  • All projects must serve the residents of Barnstable County.
  • Generally, grants cannot be used to fund the following: Endowment Buildings; Monuments and Memorials; Capital Improvements or Capital Campaigns.
