The Cape Cod Foundation to Present a Virtual Community Forum on Supporting Women and Girls Across Cape Cod
The Cape Cod Foundation will present a virtual community forum, “Women and Girls Across Cape Cod,” on Thursday, September 29, from 9-10:30 am. It is part of a free series of forums which began in 2021 to share information about the region’s current needs, resources, and opportunities for community engagement with a larger audience.
The Cape Cod Foundation Awards $248,100 To 11 Nonprofits to Support Capacity Building Initiatives
The recipients from the second year of the Foundation’s Targeted Capacity Building Grant Program are: Amazing Grace of Cape Cod, Amplify POC Cape Cod, Belonging to Each Other, Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, Community Connections, Health Imperatives, Health Ministry, Helping Our Women, Hyannis Public Library, Lower Cape Cod Community Access Television, and Sharing Kindness.
The Cape Cod Foundation Awards More Than $910,000 In Scholarships
The Cape Cod Foundation recently awarded scholarships totaling more than $910,000 to support 156 students from Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard who are beginning or continuing their higher education or pursuing certificate programs. Its partner, the Cape Cod Association, awarded $552,000 to 305 students. Together, the organizations exceeded $1.46 million in scholarship support, a 23% increase over 2021.

The Cape Cod Foundation received a $1,362,895 Community Development Block Grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through its Department of Housing and Community Development to support food access and security across Cape Cod.

Cape Cod Association to Award Over $500,000 in Scholarships in 2022
The Cape Cod Association is now accepting applications for its 2022 scholarship program. This year, the organization will award over $500,000 to local students pursuing higher education. Applicants who were born on and currently reside on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket are eligible to apply. Academic merit, extracurricular activities, and financial need are also considered.
