The Cape Cod Foundation recently awarded more than $637,000 in scholarships to 133 students from Cape Cod and the Islands who are beginning or continuing their higher education or pursuing certificate programs. They are preparing for careers in business administration, law, engineering, medicine, politics, social work, environmental sciences, education, technology, and the arts.
SOUTH YARMOUTH—The Cape Cod Foundation recently received a bequest totaling nearly $6.4 million from an anonymous donor who wanted to ensure there would be resources in perpetuity to support the community. This is the single largest bequest gift that The Cape Cod Foundation has received to date.

The Cape Cod Foundation Targets Eight Local Nonprofits for Final Grant from the Massachusetts COVID-19 Relief Fund
The Cape Cod Foundation selected eight local nonprofit organizations, focused on providing food and financial assistance to residents across the Cape, to receive a total of $126,000 from the Massachusetts COVID-19 Relief Fund.
The Cape Cod Foundation continues to focus on helping vulnerable populations across the Cape by deploying an additional $115,000 to three nonprofits focused on providing food, housing, and emergency assistance to residents impacted by the pandemic. This brings the Foundation’s total giving from its Strategic Emergency Response Fund to support COVID relief to $1.04 million. The grants, which have been made over the last 12 weeks, have supported 41 local nonprofit organizations.
